This is just one example of the kind of delicious French-style lunch, made w/local ingredients, served at this gorgeous lodge in Senegal's stunning Sine Saloum Delta region. A highlight is the housemade cheese, a sort of cottage cheese (presented w/dill) courtesy of the lodge's resident cows--although the fresh salad, pesto shrimp, blini & basil mousse were not far behind.
